Dolphin beach in Jeffrey's Bay, Eastern Cape
A beautiful wide beach which is popular with families and holidaymakers. The town of Jeffery 's Bay is world-famous for its surfing and a popular holiday destination. All facilities have recently been upgraded. The beach area is close to a number of restaurants and shops. Don't forget to visit the nearby Shell Museum which is fascinating and right on the beach. Environmental education activities with local schools, the general public and tourists will be implemented during the season. There is a public information kiosk at the beach.
Lifeguards and security are on duty on the beach during the 6-month Blue Flag season (November to end April). Dolphin beach is located in the heart of Jeffrey's Bay, on the eastern Cape coastline approximately 90km south of Port Elizabeth
